What is the capacity of the Oaks Club?
The Oaks Club can hold 375 people comfortably. This includes a nice dance floor in front of the stage. Some halls quote higher numbers with less space. We want to assure comfort for your guest.

How much is the rental fee?
The rental fee for a wedding in 2008 and 2009 is $1,000.

What's included in the rental fee?
The rental fee includes rental of the hall, linen table cloths and napkins on all tables, china at each place setting, bartenders and cleanup.

Is there a deposit?
When the contract is signed a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit for 2008-2009 is $500.

What are my cleanup responsibilities?
The Oaks Club is responsible for all of the cleanup. We do ask that anything that belongs to you be taken with you after the event is over.

What kind of decorating can we do to the Banquet Room?
We do allow decorations in the Banquet room; however, the ceiling is off limits. The walls have permanent hooks or you can use masking tape. (No Duck Tape) No glitter, confetti, stars or sprinkles of any kind. When these items end up on the floor they can only be removed with a new wax application. Wax applications cost $600. This amount will be passed onto the renting party.

Is the hall smoking or non-smoking?
Due to recent changes in the state of Ohio legislature, the hall is strictly non-smoking.

How are the alcoholic refreshments handled?
All alcohol must be bought from the Oaks Club. We have several package deals that can be discussed based on your desired request.

1. Three fountains/draft beer @ $7.00 per reservation.
   (fountains include -- seven/sevens, punch, and vodka lemonades.)
2. Open bar/wine/draft beer @ $8.50 per reservation.
3. Open bar/wine/can beer @ $9.50 per reservation.

How long do I get the hall?
The contract states that you are renting the hall from 7:00 a.m. until midnight. Other arrangements can be made.

How are the tables arranged?
Depending on the size of your event, The Oaks Club will arrange the tables in various ways. We can incorporate a few round tables and double wide tables in the equation. Using double wide tables requires a party with less than 250 people.

What are the food costs?
The Oaks Club has a large menu to choose from. All entrees include your choice of one potato, one vegetable, and one salad, plus rolls & butter.
